Q: What is U-Vint?
A: U-Vint or ferment-on-premise as it is also known is a business model where the customer makes wine, for their own personal consumption, in a retail environment rather than in their home.
Q: Why would some want to make wine in a U-Vint?
A: There are a variety of reasons. Perhaps they lack the space required or are unable lift the heavy equipment required to make the wine.
Q: How does someone make wine at a U-Vint?
A: The customer would purchase a wine kit and pay a winery fee. The customer then proceeds to the winery area of the retail shop and mixes the ingredients of the kit and sprinkles the yeast to initiate the organic process of fermentation. The u-vint operator stores the wine until it is completed. The customer is then notified that the wine is ready to bottle. The customer must fill and cork the bottles of wine.
Q: What are the advantages of using a U-Vint?
A: There are several benefits from using a u-vint facility. There is no equipment to buy. You make your wine with the assistance of the operator who will ensure your success.
